ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.2280 of 2020 506(ii) of I.P.C. and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, in Crime No.17 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent submitted that due to political rivalry, the petitioner had attacked the victim leading to his hospitalization for 4 days.

4. Therefore, I am not inclined to grant relief to the petitioner. However, the petitioner is permitted to surrender before the Court below and apply for regular bail. The Special Court shall consider and dispose of the petitioner's bail petition on the same day of surrender.

5. With this direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
