ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to secure and produce the body or person of the detenu namely M.Marimuthu, S/o.Karuppaiah, aged 21 years before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the detenu has been secured.

3. The detenu and his parents are present before this Court.

4. On enquiry, the detenu has stated that he married one Swetha, who is also present before this Court. The detenu and his wife agreed to go along with the parents of the detenu.

5. The parents of the detenu also agreed to take the detenu and his wife along with them. However, they have stated that there is a life threat to the detenu and his family.

6. However, we are of the view that if there is any threat either to the detenu or to the petitioner's family, it is for the petitioner to make a complaint before the concerned police station.

7. Hence, recording the statement made by the detenu, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
