PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of the Petitioners daughter, the detenu Anusiya, D/o.Subbaiyan, aged about 19 years, now illegally detained by the third respondent, before this Court and set her at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of the petitioner's daughter, Anusiya, D/o.Subbaiyan, aged about 19 years, now illegally detained by the third respondent, before this Court and set her at liberty forthwith.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), submitted that the petitioner's daughter was missing and as such, the petitioner lodged a complaint and the same was registered in Crime No.16 of 2020, by the respondent police. On investigation, the respondent police found that the petitioner's daughter, aged about 19 years, eloped with the third respondent and they got married and living happily.

3. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this Criminal Original Petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
