2. Mr.R.Saravanakumar, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents.

3. On the side of the petitioner it is stated that the petitioner has decided to conduct Adal Padal programme in connection with "Sri Ariyanayaki Amman Kovil" Temple festival situate at Kallur Post, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukottai District. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents and the same was rejected citing COVID-19 pandemic situation. 4.On the side of the respondents it is stated that the petitioner has not approached the District Collector for permission as per G.O.Ms.No.654 of 2020, Revenue and Disaster Management (DMIV) Department, dated 21.11.2020. Permission for conducting Aadal Padal has to be obtained only from the District Collector and prayed the petition to be dismissed.

5. In the circumstances, the petitioner is directed to 1/2

WP(MD)No.2624 of 2021 approach the concerned District Collector for necessary permission. On such representation, the concerned District Collector is directed to consider the same on the same date, in accordance with law. 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
