2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under section 379 of I.P.C., in Crime No. 841 of 2012 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. It is true that the case is of the year 2012. 4.The learned Government Advocate points out that the petitioner was absconding all these years. The case involves theft of 10 kgs of Silver.
