Respondent/Complainant Prayer :- The Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 Cr.P.C To direct the Special Court for trial of cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Sivagangai to expedite the trial of the case in Spl. C. C. No. 15 of 2014 and to dispose the case within the time frame as fixed by this Honble Court. ORDER:- The Criminal Original Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and the requisition Letter received from the Special Judge, Special Court for trial of cases

under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Sivagangai, vide in D.No.549/2023, dated 23/11/2023, this Court made the following order: "This petition has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time' to dispose of the case in Spl.C.C.No.15 of 2014.

2. The learned Special Judge, Special Court for Trial of Cases under Prevention of Corruption Act, Sivagangai, sent a letter dated 23.11.2023, requesting extension of further time of six months to dispose of Spl.C.C.No.15 of 2014, pursuant to the order of this Court dated 23.06.2023.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons assigned by the learned Judge, this Court is inclined to grant further time to dispose of the above case. Accordingly, six months time is extended for disposing the case in Spl.C.C.No.15 of 2014 from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
