ORDER

Heard Mr.R.Balakrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer/Sub Collector, Devakottai, Sivagangai District to proceed further with the enquiry in Na.Ka.A1/6852/2021 dated 01.10.2021 and dispose of the same. The said proceedings had been filed by the petitioner herein questioning the grant of patta to one Navaneetham residing at Door No.57/66, Thaerottam Veethi, South Street, Karaikudi. The entire issue relates to the lands measuring 24.4 cents, in Plot Nos.310, 311 in Town Survey No.393, Block No.12 Ward No.3

3. It is pointed out by Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader that the respondent herein had already issued notice for enquiry to the petitioner and also to the said Navaneetham and that enquiry is ongoing.

4. Let the respondent proceed further in manner known to law by hearing both the parties and thereafter pass considered order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
