O R D E R

The petitioners herein filed writ petitions before this Court and they were allowed by me vide order dated 19.12.2025. Even though I had given specific direction that work order should be issued forthwith, the respondents have not done so. Technically, the respondents have committed contempt.

2. I do not want to precipitate the matter on account of the offer made by the respondents. Yagasalai is to commence this evening. Kumbabishekam is to be performed on 01.02.2026. The respondents give a specific undertaking that they will serve the work order on the petitioners herein. Once Kumbabishekam is over, the petitioners shall execute the work order out of their own funds. The amount already collected by the Association will be remitted to the temple account immediately. The respondents make it clear that the issues regarding collection will be given a quietus at the moment, the amount comes to the temple account. Since the petitioners are going to carry out donor work, they will be duly honoured along with other donors on the occasion of Kumbabishekam.
