ORDER
This petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents to 1/4
provide adequate police protection to the Petitioner, and his family members for their life and limb and property based on his complaint dated 15.12.2022.
2. On the earlier occasion, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that for the very same subject matter of this petition, one Kesari has filed Crl.O.P(MD).No.18526 of 2022 before this Court and the same was disposed of. He has also produced the closure report, wherein the complainant stated that he will work his remedy in the pending Crl.O.P(MD).No.18526 of 2022. For production of copy of the order passed in Crl.O.P(MD).No.18526 of 2022, the case was adjourned today.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that Crl.O.P(MD).No.18526 of 2022 is not the subject matter of this petition.
4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police and re-open the complaint dated 15.12.2022. During the course of enquiry, 2/4
the second respondent police is directed to ascertain whether any life threat was made upon the petitioner by the respondent by issuing summons to the petitioner as well as the counter parties. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, further steps shall be taken by the respondent police. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
