ORDER

Alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 30.06.2022 in W.P.(MD)No.12958 of 2021, this Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, it is stated by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent that the order of the Writ Court has been challenged in an intra Court appeal with a condone delay petition in C.M.P.(MD).No.3870 of 2023 in W.A.(MD).SR.No. 19228 of 2023, which is allowed and the Writ Appeal is yet to be numbered. While that being so, it would not be appropriate for this Court to parallely adjudicate the present Contempt Petition.

3. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a fresh Contempt Petition or to reopen this Contempt Petition, subject to the final outcome of the Writ Appeal. 25.08.2023 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No Lm/RR 2/4
