This Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to re-issue passport to the petitioner by considering his Application in File No. MD2071912002119 pending before the respondent by taking into account, the birth certificate issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, mentioning the petitioner's date of birth as 02.06.1991, on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2025.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner seeks re-issuance of passport. The difficulty is that the petitioner has produced two birth certificates. The petitioner will have to get one of them cancelled and produce the genuine certificate. If such certificate is produced, the petitioner's application shall be processed and passport also re-issued. 2/4

4. The writ petition is disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
