ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to survey and demarcate the four boundaries of the landed properties.

2. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petitioner, by consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

4. The petitioner has become owner of the subject land pursuant to the settlement deed executed in her favour by her mother in June, thereafter, the petitioner had made an online application on 13.11.2024 for surveying the land and demarcating the four boundaries. 2/5

Following the said application she has sent the representation dated 23.12.2024 and he has filed the present writ petition seeking issuance of writ of mandamus to dispose of the said representation dated 23.12.2024.

I find that the petitioner has made an application only in November 2024 a couple of months back and thereafter, the representation has been given on 23.12.2024 less than the two months ago and therefore, reasonable time should be given to the respondents to act on the said application and pass orders there on. The second respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the four boundaries of the petitioner's land, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
