The Contempt Petition has been filed to take appropriate proceedings under the Contempt of Court Act and punish the contemnor

for disobedience of the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD)No.18962 of 2021 dated 26.10.2021.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the contemnor would submit that in pursuance of the direction of this Court, the Tahsildar, Vedasandur has passed an order dated 28.06.2024 and also produced the copy of the proceedings dated 28.06.2024.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that liberty may be given to the petitioner to challenge the said order.

4. Recording the submissions made on either side, the Contempt Petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order dated 28.06.2024 in the manner known to law.
