This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2022.

2.The aforementioned representation was given seeking for return of the rental money deposited by the petitioner with the respondent as according to the petitioner the dispute between the petitioner and his landlord has been amicably resolved. In such circumstances, the petitioner has sought for refund of the rental money which has been deposited with the respondent pursuant to the directions given by the Civil Court. Since the petitioner's representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Heard Mr.S.M.Anantha Murugan, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.On instructions, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent would submit that the respondent is willing to consider the representation of the writ petitioner on merits and in accordance with law after hearing all the necessary parties and after perusing and examining the documents in favour of the petitioner. The statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded.

W.P.[MD]No.2422 of 2022 5.After hearing the learned Counsel for the writ petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent, this Court is of the considered view that no prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2022 is considered on merits and in accordance with law. 6.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.

2022 seeking for return of the rental money which was deposited by him pursuant to the directions of the Civil Court as according to him his dispute with the landlord has now got amicably resolved and pass suitable orders within a period of eight [8] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law after hearing all the necessary parties and after perusing and examining the documents produced by the petitioner in support of his case. 7.With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
