The instant writ petition has been filed by Junior Assistant (under suspension) working in the Town Panchayat Department, seeking a mandamus to revoke the order of suspension dated 05.07.2024.

2. It could be seen from the records that the petitioner was placed under suspension pursuant to his implication in a criminal case in Crime No.15 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Section 7(A) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 2018. The petitioner has been issued with a order of suspension on 05.07.2024. The petitioner has given a representation on 11.09.2024, seeking revocation of order of suspension, to the first respondent. Since the said representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.09.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
