ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A7, in Crime No.227 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, was surrendered before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti on 15.09.2015, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 362 and 397 of I.P.C., and hence, seeks bail.
2.According to the prosecution, when the de-facto complainant was travelling in a Bolera car along with a sum of Rs.26 lakhs, the accused waylaid and committed theft of the entire amount. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the occurrence had taken place on 22.09.2014 and nearly after a year, the petitioners were arrested on 15.09.2015 and based on the confession of the co-accused, the case was re-opened.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the coaccused were already arrested and released on bail and the investigation is going on and the main accused viz., Pattarai Suresh was also surrendered before the Court.
5.However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on his bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent Police daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders.
