: Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 31.1.2020 and to change the name in the property tax Register in respect of the property which was allotted to the Petitioner by Oral Partition, dated 28.10.1988, after receiving necessary charges, within the time frame fixed by this court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation, dated 31.1.2020 and to change the name in the property tax Register in respect of the property which was allotted to the Petitioner by Oral Partition, dated 28.10.1988, after receiving necessary charges.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.After filing of the Writ Petition, the respondent has issued a notice to the Petitioner as well as to his brother one A.Ramkumar Raja, calling upon them to appear for an enquiry on 20.2.2020 along with necessary documents, in original. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that they had appeared before the respondent for enquiry and made their submissions. What remains to be done is to pass necessary orders by the respondent based upon the said enquiry, for which, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent seeks three weeks time.

W.P(MD)NO.2644 of 2020 4.In view of the above said submission, the respondent is directed to pass orders after considering the submissions made by the Petitioner during the enquiry as well the documents submitted by them, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
