O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2024.

2. The petitioner has made a representation on 08.01.2024 seeking to invoke Goondas Act as against one Udayappan. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that based on a representation, the petitioner cannot seek to invoke Goondas Act, as against a third party. Therefore, this Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that as rightly contended by the learned Additional Government Pleader, based on a representation, the petitioner cannot seek to invoke Goondas Act, as against a third party. It is for the concerned authorities to decide and take appropriate action as to whether the person concerned is required to be booked under the Goondas Act. 2/4

Therefore, there is no merit in this Writ Petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
