ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to delete the wrong entry in the encumbrance certificate of the petitioner's land in Survey No. 257/1 and 257/3 situated at Krishnapuram Village, Tirunelveli District in the light of the petitioner representation dated 16.12.2024 and 22.01.2025.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 16.12.2024 and 22.01.2025 respectively and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuance of notice and giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the counter party, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
