ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to cancel the patta in Patta Nos.192, 193 & 195 issued by the third respondent in the names of the respondents 4 to 6. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Murugan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
3.It is seen from the typed set of papers that challenging the order passed by the third respondent issuing patta in favour of the respondents 4 to 6, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the second respondent on 21.12.2023 and the same is pending disposal.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that due to the pendency of the writ petition, the second respondent has not proceeded with the appeal. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 21.12.2023 and dispose of the same on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and respondents 4 to 6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
