ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SURESHKUMAR, J.] The Division Bench of this Court, by order dated 29.10.2021 in W.M.P.(MD)No.16111 of 2021 in W.P.(MD)No.19387 of 2021, has passed an interim order to maintain the status-quo pertaining to S.F.No.92/21 at Ponnavarayankottai Village, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District. 2.The said order, according to the petitioner, has allegedly been violated. Therefore, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

3.However, Mr.A.K.Manikkam, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, submits that the order of status-quo was directed to be maintained in S.F.No.92/21, whereas the proposed construction at the time to have a Panchayat Office building was undertaken only in S.F.No.91/16, which is no-way connected to S.F.No.92/21. Therefore, there is no violation on the part of the respondents in respect of the interim order as referred to above.

4.Recording the said statement made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, we feel that this Contempt Petition can be closed, accordingly, it is closed. However, still if the petitioner has got any grievance with regard to the interim order granted by this Court as referred to above, it is open to him to agitate the issue by reviving this Contempt Petition.
