PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to release Rs.5,00,000/-(Rupees five lakhs only) as part withdrawal from the petitioner's Provident Fund Account No.9213, maintained by the respondent Corporation to meet out the marriage expenditure of the petitioner's daughter.

O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the respondent to release Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees five lakhs only) as part withdrawal from the petitioner's Provident Fund Account No.9213, maintained by the respondent Corporation, to meet out the marriage expenditure of the petitioner's daughter.

2.Mr.J.Senthil Kumaraiah, learned counsel who takes notice for the respondent seeks short accommodation, to ascertain the eligible amount due to the petitioner from his Provident Fund Account 9213.

3.Though the learned counsel appearing for the respondents sought for some accommodation, considering the relief sought for by the petitioner and also the reason for his request, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition in the admission stage itself, with a direction to the respondent to pay the eligible amount to the petitioner from his Provident Fund Account 9213, as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.2408 of 2022 per Clause 13 of Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation Provident Fund Rules, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
