Prayer: Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the land situated in S.No.159/8B, Patta No.4359 to the extent of 43 cents at Surukuvalaipatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the land situated in S.No.159/8B, Patta No.4359 to the extent of 43 cents at Surukuvalaipatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents submits that a date ie., on 12.02.2024 has already been fixed to survey the subject property. She has also produced the notice regarding survey of the subject property before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader. Since no adverse order against the private respondents is going to be passed, notice to them is dispensed with. 2/4

4. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents, this Court directs the respondents to conduct survey of the subject property on 12.02.2024 as per the notice issued, in the presence of the petitioner and any other necessary party, whom the respondents deem fit to put on notice.
