This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.137 of 2006 on the file of the learned Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, Kanyakumari District. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the first respondent would submit that the trial has already been commenced and the witnesses were also examined.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), at this juncture, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.
