ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner, seeking for a direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No.574 of 2020 of Vickramasingapuram Police Station to any other competent officer.

2.The main grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents 2 and 3 have not done the investigation in a fair and reasonable manner in Crime No.574 of 2020 and therefore, seeks for transfer of investigation from the third respondent to the first respondent.

3.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would contend that the fourth respondent lodged a complaint with the third respondent and the same was registered in Crime No.574 of 2020. His further contention is that in the 1/3

Anticipatory Bail moved by the petitioner, he was directed to be enlarged on bail in the event of arrest by the police.

4. In any event, since the petitioner is levelling certain serious allegations against the third respondent, the investigation in Crime No.574 of 2020 is directed to be monitored by the Assistant Superintendant of Police, Cheranmahadevi.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
