: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to complete the recruitment process for filling up all 1884 vacancies in the Tamil Nadu Government Medical Services by considering the candidature of the petitioner, who is all qualified in the MRB examination dated 2018 conducted by the third respondent vide notification dated 25.09.2018 subject to the order of merit in the rank list and availability of candidates by conducting counselling within a specified time limit and to forbear the respondents from issuing any fresh notification for MRB examination until the recruitment process for the already published 1884 vacancies is completed. O R D E R

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his candidature for filing up the vacancies in the Tamil Nadu Government Medical Services.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, though there is no representation for the petitioner, learned Counsel appearing for the third respondent / Board, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner / Dr.M.Nandhakumar, who scored 47.5 marks and belongs to SC communal category, has been sponsored as one of the candidate in the list of 501 candidates to the appointing authority for issuing of appointment order, vide Letter in Ref.No.1094/MRB/E2/2018, dated 23.03.2020.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Counsel for the third respondent / Board, this writ petition stands closed as no further order is required to be passed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
