ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed seeking orders to punish the contemnor/respondent for his deliberate and wilful disobedience of the order passed in W.P(MD)No.5618 of 2020, dated 17.03.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (i.e,18.06.2024), the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Deputy Solicitor General of India appearing for the respondent would submit that the passport has been issued subject to the Police verification and hence, the petition may be closed.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, the Contempt Petition is closed.
