ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel to dispose of the case in Crl.M.P.No. 1693 of 2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed in this petition, notice to the second respondent is dispensed with.

3. Earlier, the petitioner filed a petition in Crl.M.P. No.1865 of 2025 under Section 173(8) of the Cr.P.C., seeking further investigation in C.C. No. 343 of 2019 before the Fast Track Court (Magisterial level), Eraniel. The said petition was disposed of by the trial Court on 29.05.2025, with a direction to the petitioner to file a fresh protest petition. Thereafter, the petitioner filed a fresh protest petition in Crl.M.P. No.1693 of 2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel.

4. Without going into the merits of this case, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel is directed to dispose of the case in Crl.M.P.No.1693 of 2/4

2025 as expeditiously as possible within a period of two (2)weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 03.02.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Sm TO:-
