ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- It appears that the very same complainant has lodged a complaint before the Inspector of Police, Navalpattu Police Station, Trichy and also before the Manikandam Police Station, Trichy and petition enquiry was pending in both complaints. While that being so, the petitioner also moved an application for anticipatory bail as against the complaint lodged against him in Navalpattu Police Station, wherein it was represented that petition enquiry was pending, based on that this Court has passed an order in that case as no further direction is necessary to be passed in this petition.

However, this attitude of the respondent police in taking up the complaint in a mechanical manner even without ascertaining their jurisdiction is to be depricated and the Superintendent of Police, Madurai District is directed to look into the matter and take action in accordance with law.
