Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to issue a direction, directing the 3rd respondent to grant a police protection for the petitioner and his family members, on the basis of the representation dated 29.04.2019 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue a direction, directing the 3rd respondent to grant police protection for the petitioner and his family members.

2.This Criminal Original Petition has been filed on the ground that one Arumugam has threatened the petitioner and hence, the petitioner has given a complaint against him to the third respondent police. But, no action has been taken. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, an enquiry has been conducted. In the meanwhile, the petitioner withdrew his complaint and also produced a copy of the letter given by the petitioner.
