ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to issue patta in the name of Arulmigu Malaikinar Subramaniya Swami Temple to the land situated in S.No.3/1 at Kambiliyampatty Village and the land situated in S.No.1118/6 at Senkurichi Village by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2023. 2.Mr.D.Gandhi Raj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the fourth respondent. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/5
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation dated 18.11.2023 to the respondents for issuance of patta. Since the said representation is pending, the petitioner has come before this Court. He would further submit that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.
4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by this petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, directs the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.11.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
