(Crime No.41 of 2020) PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to to direct the third respondent to expedite the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.41 of 2020 on the file of the third respondent police.

ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the third respondent to expedite the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.41 of 2020 on the file of the third respondent police.

2.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that connected case in Crime No.50 of 2020 on the file of the same police station was already transferred to the file of the Economic Offences Wing, Tirunelveli, and that this case would also be transferred to the Economic Offences Wing, Tirunelveli.

3.Recording the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the present Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.41 of 2020 to the Economic Offences Wing, Tirunelveli, if warranted, or to expedite the investigation in Crime No.41 of 2020 and file a final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of the order.
