Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus calling for the entire records, connected with the detention order of the respondent No.2 in P.D.No.1 of 2021, dated 18.01.2021 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu by name Rajesh Kumar, son of Mylerum Perumal, aged about 25 years, now detained in Palayamkottai Central Prison before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu, namely, Rajesh Kumar, son of Mylerum Perumal, aged about 1/3

25 years, challenging the detention order in P.D.No.1 of 2021, dated 18.01.2021, passed by the second respondent, branding him as "Drug Offender" as contemplated under Section 2(e) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.1027, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIV) Department, dated 27.02.2020, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked.

3. Recording the above submission, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
