ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent and his officials not to harass the petitioner and his family members unnecessarily against law under the guise of enquiry.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the son of the 5th respondent, an enquiry has been conducted by the third respondent police. Subsequent to that, there was a settlement between the parties and the petitioner has also agreed to repay the disputed amount to the defacto complainant. Based on that, the complaint has been closed and he has also produced a copy of the letter given by the third respondent police.

3. Recording the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
