ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents 1 and 2 to allot a Shop near Block No.7 at Manjalmedu, Arappalayam, Madurai.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the shop will be allotted only by tendering in auction. Therefore, mere submitting the representation would not serve any purpose for allotment of shop. 2/4

4. In view of the above, the writ petition is devoid of merits and it is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to participate in the tender to be floated by the respondent for allotment of shop in the manner known to law.
