ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / Accused who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.12.2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.747 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail,

The prosecution's case is that the petitioner, along with other accused persons, received a sum of Rs. 6,75,000/- from the de facto complainant through an online transaction on the pretext of securing a job in the Anganwadi. However, neither was the job provided nor was the amount returned. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks bail.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has involved in very serious offence and the investigation is still pending. Hence, he strongly objected to the grant of bail to the petitioner.
5. The learned counsel for the Intervenor/defacto complainant strongly opposed for grant bail to the petitioner.
6. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the nature and gravity of the offence and the investigation is still pending and the amount is involved Rs.6,75,000/-. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. (S S Y J) 10.02.2026 msrm 3/5
