Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, a. to direct the respondents to install new dialysis units and to upgrade the existing dialysis units in all Government Taluk hospitals in the state of Tamil Nadu;

b. to direct the respondents to create additional vacancies for the post of Dialysis Technicians and to fill the existing vacancies expeditiously by considering the petitioner's representation; and c. to direct the respondents to take steps to vaccinate each dialysis patients for Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C on a regular basis within the time that may be stipulated by this Court. O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The relief sought for in the present writ petition cannot be considered in view of the fact that providing of necessary medical equipments viz., dialysis units is an administrative decision to be taken by the Medical Department.
2. Further, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that sufficient dialysis units are presently available in Government Headquarters Hospitals.
3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader, this Court is of the view that the petitioner has not made out 2/4
any specific ground regarding the deficiency in service and providing health service to the public. That apart, the issue has already been considered by a Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 03.03.2025 in W.P.(MD) No.22575 of 2024. Thus, no further adjudication is required and the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
