ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.495 of 2019 from the third respondent to some other fair agency in the best interest of justice.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Periyasamy, Sub-Inspector of Police, Karur Town Police Station, is present before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the investigation has been completed and the final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Karur on 20.11.2019.

5.At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the final report has been filed even without recording the statement from the petitioner. He would further submit that the investigation has been done by the respondent police to protect the accused.

6.This Court is of the opinion that if the petitioner is aggrieved with the final report, he is entitled to file a protest petition before the appropriate Court.
