ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) None appears for the petitioner.

2.The petitioner herein filed W.P(MD)No.23198 of 2024 for removing the encroachment said to have been made by the fifth respondent in the writ petition. The said writ petition is disposed of on 11.08.2025 with a direction to the authorities to complete the action for removal of the encroachments pursuant to the earlier direction given by the Division Bench.

3.The Revenue Inspector, Kovilur thereafter issued notice under Section 7 of the Land Encroachment Act, 1905. It is stated that, challenging the action taken by the authorities, the fifth respondent herein filed W.P(MD)No.4861 of 2026 and that the Division Bench has granted stay of the action by the authorities. Hence nothing survives for further adjudication in this contempt petition. The petitioner is at liberty to implead himself in W.P(MD)No.4861 of 2026. It is further stated that 2/4

the petitioner herein has already been shown as one of the respondents in the said writ petition.

4.This Contempt Petition stands closed.
