The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the second and third respondents to provide verification clearance to the file of the first respondent and consequently directing the first respondent to issue a new passport to the writ petitioner based upon his application dated 01.01.2026.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the fourth respondent brought to the notice of the Court that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in Crime No.19 of 2025 on the file of fourth respondent, which has culminated in filing of a charge sheet in C.C.No.426 of 2025 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate Court, 2/5

Manapparai.

3. Considering the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the concerned trial Court seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case if any such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks. Based upon the orders to be passed by the learned trial Court, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
