2 W.P.(MD)No.2861 of 2020 Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents No.1, 2 and 4 to 6 to take appropriate action against the 9th and 10th respondents and to prevent unauthorized and illegal extraction of ground water by disconnecting the eletricity and consequently direct the respondents to close the bore-well illegally operating by the 9th and 10th respondents.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner alleges that the respondents 9 and 10 are commercially exploiting the ground water resources. 3.The respondents 9 and 10 have entered appearance through counsel and have made a categorical statement before this Court that without getting proper permission from the authorities, they would not commercially exploit the ground water resource or engage in transportation of water. If the authorities are to consider any such request of respondents 9 and 10, the authorities are obliged to put the petitioner on notice before passing any formal order. 4.Recording the said undertaking of the respondents 9 and 10, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
