Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to direct the 1st respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner to erect fence around the land in survey No.32/1 situate at N.Shanmugasundarapuram Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District on the basis of his complaint to the 1st respondent dated 07.02.2019. ORDER

This Contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent herein for his willful disobedience in the order passed by this Hon'ble Court Crl. O.P (MD) No. 2478 of 2019 dated 18.02.2019.

2. Contemnor present before this Court today. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that this Court by an order dated 18.02.2019 had granted liberty to the petitioner that if threat perception continues, he may prefer a fresh complaint to the first respondent police with necessary materials as would be necessary for them to take appropriate decision and on receipt of fresh complaint the first respondent police shall conduct an enquiry and take appropriate decision as may be necessary to protect https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P(MD)No.187 of 2020 the life, liberty and right to property of the petitioner. He would submit that the petitioner had sought protection for surveying the property if the petitioner approaches the respondent police after fixing the date for surveying the property, the respondents are ready to provide adequate protection.
