This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to conduct survey and issue separate patta in respect of Survey Number 127/2 for an extent of 85 cents situated at Trichy District, Manapparai Taluk, F.Keelaiyur Revenue Village, on the basis of petitioner's application dated 09.12.2023.

2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he has made an application before the second respondent on 09.12.2023 along with necessary fees, seeking to conduct survey and issue separate patta in respect of S.No.127/2 to an extent of 85 cents situated at Trichy District, Manapparai Taluk, F.Keelaiyur Revenue Village. Since the said application has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 2/5

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's application dated 09.12.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity to the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
