The Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioners and their family members and also not to interfere in the civil dispute.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the respondent Police frequently called the petitioner to the Police Station and harassed them under the guise of enquiry.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioners were called only for enquiry in respect of a petition pending against them and that the respondent Police did not cause any harassment to the petitioners. However, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

he gave an undertaking that if at all the presence of the petitioners is required, the respondent would call the petitioners for enquiry only after issuing summons giving specific date, time and place.
