Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the sessions Judge, Special Court for SC/St(POA) Act, Dindigul to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day in Crime No.465 of 2020 on the file of the second Respondent Police Station.

ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.Maharaja, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.A.Robinson, Government Advocate for the Respondents 1 and 2, this Court made the following order:

This Court, by its order dated 22.05.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.5443 of 2020 directed the petitioners to surrender before the jurisdictional Special Court, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was not in a position to surrender before the concerned Court within the time stipulated by this Court and seeks further time to surrender.

3. Considering the request made by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the jurisdictional Special Court, within fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading this order, failing which, the order passed by this Court, shall stand automatically cancelled, without further reference to this Court.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
