ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.1, in Crime No.210 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, was arrested on 25.09.2015 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 8(c) r/w. 20 (b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act and hence, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on receiving information, on 25.09.2015, at about 3.30 a.m., the respondent police intercepted the accused and at that time, the petitioner was found in possession of 6 kgs. of ganja and another bag contains 4 kgs. of ganja and the contraband were seized and after taking samples, all the three accused were arrested and remanded to judicial custody.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case and he is in custody from 25.09.2015.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the petitioner is having six previous cases of similar nature and the investigation is pending and if he is released on bail, he will tamper the evidence and hamper the investigation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this petition is dismissed.
