(Crime No.12 of 2021) : Mr.K.Navaneetharaja PETITIONS FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C COMMON PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime Nos.12 of 2021, 02 of 2022, 3 of 2022 and 4 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police. COMMON ORDER : The Court made the following common order :- The petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2576 of 2022, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 468, 471, 420, 120(b) & 506(i) IPC in Cr.No.02 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The petitioners in Crl.O.P.(MD)Nos.3985, 3987, 3990, 3992, 4616 and 4615 of 2022, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 294(b), 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 in Cr.Nos.3 & 4 of 2022, seek anticipatory bail.
3.The petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14359 of 2022, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 506(i) IPC in Cr.No.12 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

4.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant and other investors, have invested in real estate company namely Sparrow Global Trade. The main object of the investment is to purchase plots, multiplying the same into several plots and earning profit out of the plots. The defacto complainant and her relatives invested Rs.5,45,57,100/-. Thereafter, when the defacto complainant enquired about the amount, the accused persons threatened the defacto complainant. Hence the case.
5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they are nothing to do with the alleged occurrence.
6.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that there are totally more than 36,000 depositors and more than 900 Crores was involved in this case. Hence, he prayed for dismissal of these petitions. 7.It is seen that there are more than 36,000 depositors and the respondent police expected more complaints. Therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much necessary in this case. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, these criminal original petitions are dismissed.
