The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation for issuance of passport based upon his application dated 27.01.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the second respondent brought to the notice of the Court that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in Crime No.545 of 2022 on the file of second respondent which has culminated in filing of a charge sheet in C.C.No.91 of 2025 on the file of District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvidaimaruthur, Thanjavur District.

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court concerned seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case if any such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks. Based upon the orders to be passed by the learned trial 2/4

Court, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
