PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order in Na.Ka. No.15176/E/S3/2025 dated 19.01.2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the 2nd respondent to furnish the OMR Sheet in PG TRB 2025 to the petitioner for the purpose of revaluation her marks to get Direct Recruitment for the post PG Assistant (English) based on the representation dated 05.12.2025 made by the petitioner within the 1/5
time stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner has applied for the post PG Assistant, as per the Notification, dated 10.07.2025 issued by the Teachers Recruitment Board, Chennai and also attended the written examination on 12.10.2025. On 27.11.2025, the respondent Board has published the marks, which reflects that the petitioner has scored 101 marks. Thereafter, final answer key has also been uploaded in the Portal. When the petitioner has cross checked her answers with the answer key uploaded in the portal, she got 105 marks. In order to verify the same, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondent Board to furnish her OMR sheet, however, it was denied by them. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court with this writ petition.

3.The petitioner with a confident that she could have secured more than the marks published by the respondent Board in the written examination held on 27.11.2025 for the post of PG Assistant, has approached this Court, seeking a direction to the respondent Board, to furnish her OMR Sheet to verify the same. 4.Since the petitioner has made out a prima facie case, this writ petition is allowed. The respondent Board is directed to furnish a copy of the OMR sheet for the written examination held on 12.10.2025 to the petitioner, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
