O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's petition dated 25.03.2023 and subsequent representation dated 30.11.2023.

2. According to the petitioner, she made a petition to the first respondent on 25.03.2023, seeking to cancel the Patta No.2231, which was fraudulently issued in the name of the third respondent and submitted all the documents. Afterwards, the first respondent sent a communication to the petitioner on 02.05.2023 and conducted enquiry. The petitioner attended the enquiry on 12.05.2023 and submitted all the documents before the first respondent. Thereafter, the first respondent forwarded a communication to the second respondent to call for the revenue records. But the second respondent has not taken any steps to consider her petition. Hence, she sent a detailed representation to the first respondent on 30.11.2023, to cancel the Patta No.2231. Since the first respondent has failed to initiate any action based on her petition dated 25.03.2023 and subsequent representation dated 30.11.2023, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

Considering the above said facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.11.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to the parties concerned, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
